Online Lenders Alliance Congratulates Travis Hill on Nomination to Chair FDIC

ARLINGTON, Va. (October 2, 2025)—Today, after President Trump nominated FDIC Acting Chairman Travis Hill to serve as the agency’s permanent chair, Online Lenders Alliance Chief Executive Officer Andrew Duke Issued the following statement:

“On behalf of the Online Lenders Alliance, we congratulate Travis Hill on his nomination to serve as the FDIC’s Chairman for a full five-year term. During his time as Acting Chair and as a Board member, Mr. Hill has shown a dedication to reforming the agency in much-needed ways as well as a deep knowledge of financial regulation. With nearly a decade of professional experience at the FDIC and a long career in the financial services arena, we have no doubt that he will bring a thoughtful approach to the issues that impact our members.
