ARLINGTON, Va. (January 30, 2025)—This morning, the Online Lenders Alliance (OLA) released its 2025 Policy Priorities white paper, providing a guide for legislators, regulators, and other executive branch members interested in preserving credit options for all Americans.

“OLA’s 2025 Policy Priorities outlines the key issues that impact credit access for the millions of Americans who rely on short-term, small-dollar credit products to help manage their financial goals and needs,” said OLA Chief Executive Officer Andrew Duke. “Our 2025 Policy Priorities is an important resource for policymakers and others as it includes a wealth of important information, research, and data demonstrating the need for these financial products, their value to the consumers who use them, and rebuttals to some of the most common mischaracterizations often peddled about them.”

“We hope all of those with influence over this sector will save this document and refer to it often,” Duke continued.
